Parents Visit Day at Nursery

As part of our topic ‘Magnificent Me’, we had a wonderful week that focuses on ‘My Family’. We  thought that this would be a lovely opportunity to invite parents to come and join their children in their learning at Nursery, engage in different activities and for us essentially, to celebrate our families.

Aliens are coming!

Year One pupils investigated an “alien” spacecraft which crash landed on their playground. An alien called ‘Beebop’ left a letter explaining what had happened and asked for help to repair his ship. Children used their imagination to create images of what the aliens look like using paint and collage.

Whatever Next

Year One have been learning how to sequence the events in stories such as ‘Five Minutes Peace’ and ‘Whatever Next!’, both written by Jill Murphy. Glockenspiel Music Lessons

This term, we have been learning how to play music on the glockenspiel. We learnt how to play the letters D,E,F and G. Using these letters, we have learnt how to play the songs Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Hot Cross Buns.

Year 5 Sponsored Spell

Year 5 hosted an exhilarating sponsored spelling competition where the children showcased their spelling prowess. Amazing Artwork

Year 2 created some fabulous artwork in class this week. They were inspired by the artist Wassily Kandinsky’s abstract art and used various media to create there very own design. They used water colours, wax crayons and markers. Have a look at some of the fabulous work.
