This week has been Anti-Bullying week, incorporating the theme of ‘All Different, All Equal’. Children across the school were given fun and engaging opportunities to express themselves, appreciate individuality and celebrate uniqueness. We believe that by encouraging acceptance of individuality at an early age, this can help prevent bullying.
On Wednesday, we took part in Odd Sock Day. The socks worn by the children were crazy and colourful. In addition to this, many activities also took place including a performance of an anti-bullying rap, writing of anti-bullying poetry, recipes for good friendship and class debates. All of this wonderful work was showcased in a whole school assembly.
